I'm really looking forward to attending an upcoming event hosted by Food Forward called "Pushing Further:Building Your Career in the Good Food Movement" on Saturday April 9th 2011.
The event, supported by the U of T Urban Agriculture Society, is a miniconference-style , providing "educational and interactive sessions for those interested in getting or starting a job in the food, and related environment and health sectors". Speakers include Harriet Friedmann, Nogah Kornberg,Kathleen Mackintosh and Noelle Munaretto. This is a great opportunity for networking and sharing ideas on strategies for building a career (if that's what you're interested in) or just finding out what other folks are up to in the Toronto area.
